Charlotte County has recently been undergoing a recent period of growth and rejuvination. As one of the fastest growing countys in the state, Charlotte County is an appealing place for new business, business expansion new residents. Making it even more appealing are the facts that county has the infrastructure in place to accomodate this new growth. The county offers an appealing tax base, no personal income tax, below average business expenses, healthy finanical institutions, excellent transportation, a hungry workforce and the educational systems necessary for training skilled work forces.

• Edison Community College – Edison Community College, located in the heart of Punta Gorda, can work with your business in offering classes that help better train your employees.
• Florida Gulf Coast University – Florida’s newest university offers a full slate of courses that can better train you and your employees.
• Industrial Park – This county owned park, located just down the road from Edison Community College, gives businesses of all sizes an affordable place to call home.
